£ 235,000 expend on Bute House

More than £ 200, 000 has recently been spent on the First Minister's official residence in the past four years. Figures exposed by the Scottish Government displayed that the bills for work at Bute House - the officer home of the First Minister in Edinburgh's Charlotte Square valued to a total of £ 234,473.

That comprised a total of £ 30,387 which was spent renovated bathrooms and revamped the cabinet room there following a "serious leak".
