House prices broken back through $200,000

The average house prices back above the $200,000 barrier after rising by 1.7% during November, Government figures have shown.
The average UK house now costs £200,454, 0.6% more than in November 2008, according to Communities and Local Government (CLG).
It is the first time that annual house prices inflation has been positive since June 2008 as the property market continues to recover.
But separate research from the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) showed that the rate at which prices are increasing slowly during December as the gap between supply and demand narrowed.
Thirteen per cent more surveyors expect further price rises during the coming three months than those who think there will be falls, but only 6% more expect sales levels to continue rising, down from a balance of 20% in November.

Architectural Resemblance: The White house and the Leinster house

The Leinster House in Dublin

The Leinster House in dublin,Ireland was built in 1745-47 by Architect Richard Cassels.

The Leinster House, originally named as the Kildare House, began as a home for James Fitzgerald, the Earl of Kildare. Fitzgerald wanted a mansion that would reflect his importance in Irish society. So Fitzgerald and his German-born architect, Richard Cassels, built the Georgian manor.

America declared its independence from Britain in 1776 and in the same year Fitzgerald became the Duke of Leinster. Fitzgerald's home was renamed the Leinster House. Leinster House was greatly admired and became a model for many other important buildings. It's likely that James Hoban, who studied in Dublin, created his prize-winning plans for America's White House in Washington, DC based on Leinster house design.

The Leinster House has now become the seat of the Irish Parliament and is also said to be an architectural twin of America's presidential home.
